Navy Strength Gin 57% ABV 5cl

Based on our Original Dry, this potent Navy Strength Gin is hand crafted in small batches in our bespoke 500 litre pot still. This Gin is made from grain spirit and a carefully selected recipe of botanicals.

So why NAVY strength? Well this is a bit of pub quiz trivia…
Back in the day when our Navy ships carried gunpowder for the cannons, they quickly learned that leaking barrels of spirits didn’t mix too well with the gunpowder. Then they realised at a strength of 57% or more, gunpowder caught with spirit would light.

So like the gunpowder, “BOOM” this gin is full of flavour.
